These are the terms that apply when you use MechanicalAptitudeTest.org or purchase our practice bundle, Mechanical Aptitude All-Access. We’ve kept them as short and readable as we honestly can. By using the site or making a purchase, you agree to them.
1. What you’re buying
Mechanical Aptitude All-Access is a digital product: $67 USD, paid once, giving you 365 days of online access from the date of purchase to all practice tests, timed simulations, and topic drills on the site, with unlimited retakes during that period.
- No subscription. No auto-renewal. Ever. When your 365 days end, access simply expires — nothing is charged, and nothing renews. If you want more time, you can choose to purchase again.
- Access is delivered online through your account on this site. Nothing is shipped.
- Your purchase is covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee — see the Refund Policy.
2. Your license
Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use the practice material for your own test preparation during your access period. That means:
- The license is for you, the purchaser, alone. One person, one account.
- You may not share your login, lend your account, or let others take tests under it.
- You may not copy, screenshot-compile, redistribute, republish, resell, or post our questions, explanations, or diagrams anywhere — not in study groups, forums, file shares, or anywhere else.
- You may not scrape, bulk-download, or use the material to build a competing product or train a question bank.
We’re a small independent publisher; the question bank is the product. Accounts involved in sharing or redistribution may be suspended or terminated without refund.
3. Our content and copyright
Every question, explanation, diagram, and guide on this site is an original work created by MechanicalAptitudeTest.org and is protected by copyright. Our materials simulate the style, format, timing, and difficulty of well-known mechanical aptitude assessments; they do not contain, and are not derived from, actual test questions.
4. No affiliation with test publishers
MechanicalAptitudeTest.org is an independent test-preparation provider. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Pearson, Ramsay Corporation, Criteria Corp, NEIEP, the IBEW, the Electrical Training Alliance, the Edison Electric Institute, the U.S. Department of Defense, or any other test publisher or administrator. Test names on this site are used only to describe which assessments our practice material helps you prepare for. See our full Trademark & Content Disclaimer.
5. Practice, not a prediction
Our simulations are built to match the format, question styles, and time limits of the real tests so you can walk in familiar and confident. But a score on our practice tests is not a prediction or guarantee of your score on any actual exam, and using this site does not guarantee that you will pass a test, be ranked, be hired, or be accepted into an apprenticeship. Real-exam outcomes depend on many things we don’t control. We guarantee your satisfaction with the product (via the refund policy) — we do not and cannot guarantee exam results.
6. Your account
Keep your login credentials private and your account email current — it’s how we deliver receipts and access information. You’re responsible for activity on your account. If you think your account has been compromised, email [email protected] and we’ll sort it out.
7. Acceptable use
Don’t attempt to break, probe, overload, or interfere with the site; don’t try to access other users’ data or bypass access controls; don’t use the site for anything unlawful. Standard stuff.
8. Refunds
Every purchase comes with a 30-day, unconditional money-back guarantee. The full details — and there aren’t many, because it’s genuinely unconditional — are in the Refund Policy.
9. Warranties and limitation of liability
The site and the practice material are provided “as is.” We work hard to keep everything accurate and available, but we can’t promise the site will be error-free or uninterrupted at every moment.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MechanicalAptitudeTest.org’s total liability for any claim arising out of your use of the site or the product is limited to the amount you actually paid us, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (such as lost income or lost opportunities). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you; nothing here takes away consumer rights that your local law says cannot be waived.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of MechanicalAptitudeTest.org is based, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections you are entitled to under the laws of the place where you live. If a dispute ever arises, we’d sincerely rather resolve it with a straightforward email exchange first — write to [email protected].
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top reflects the latest version, and changes apply from the date they’re posted. Changes won’t retroactively reduce what you already paid for: if you bought 365 days of access, you have 365 days of access.
